Guy Fieri of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives recently installed a ZZ502 Deluxe in the other star of the show, his 1968 Camaro convertible. We caught up with him to talk horsepower, torque and all things Bowtie.
With 505hp and 567lb-ft of torque the $11,000 crate motor is plenty potent and we’re bound to agree with Guy when says the ’68 has “has never been better”.
Guy’s also a died-in-the-wool Chevrolet fan who seems damn proud of the fact he gets to burble around your TV in a vintage American Convertible.
With this kind of engine, not only the performance is fantastic but also there is a thunder sound coming out of the hood.
It’s the right engine power to correspond with the looks and the reputation this American iconic muscle have.
