Jeremiah Barjolo, Jr. doesn’t just dribble one ball, but four!Jeremiah Sr. says his son has been working the ball since he was 2-years-old.“We practice in the kitchen, every day for like 10 minutes. So we practice pretty much everywhere in the house. Outside in the rain,” he says. “He fell in love with it, and that was it after that.”
He’s even learned to dribble tennis balls. Maybe that’s because his mom, attorney Dorothy Dohanics, was a scholarship tennis player at Penn State. That’s where she met her future husband, Jeremiah, who played for the basketball team’s practice squad.
You might say the kid has benefited from athletic genetics.“You know what, he amazes me more and more every day,” his mother says. “So nothing shocks me. Tomorrow might be 10 balls at a time, I don’t know. And I wouldn’t be surprised.”“It comes to a point where I don’t even teach him anymore,” says his father. “He’d be teaching me how to dribble.”
