A Group Of Explorers Take a Look Around the Radioactive Ghost Town Of Fukushima

Back in 2011, Japan experienced one of the worst nuclear disasters in history immediately following the tsunami generated by the 9.1 magnitude earthquake, which forced the people in the surrounding area to evacuate.

For the next six years, Fukushima has been a ghost town due to the radiation left by the disaster, with the government trying to clean up as much as possible to make it safe and habitable once more.via (zockme)

To give you a glimpse of what’s left in Fukushima, a group of explorers headed by Josh, of YouTube channel Exploring with Josh, walked around and took fascinating footage of the surrounding area.

The explorers entered abandoned buildings and took in what laid before them: scenes exactly out of a post-apocalyptic film where evidence of people hastily leaving was apparent just to escape certain death.
