Riding a motorbike isn’t the regular mode of transport for women in India, but Roshni has had a passion for motorbikes since a young age – and she wants to encourage a more female riding culture.
Roshni, who comes from a conservative Muslim family, found her inspiration and support from her father. Her extended family did not approve her father’s decision to allow her to ride a bike.
She says her passion for biking doesn’t interfere with her faith.”Hijab can never be a hurdle to anything. It is a part of my life, part of my culture and it is my choice to wear my hijab,” she told ScoopWhoop News.
