It has the twin-charged heart of a Lancia Delta S4. It’s also possible the engine is also a 2.0-liter turbocharged Integrale engine with a Volumex supercharger strapped on, which would likely offer further cost savings.

Said to make around 500 horsepower in street trim, the 1759-cc twin-charged engine was also used during the glory days of 1980s rally to fling cars sideways at triple digit speeds through the forest.

Here, one brave fabricator managed to shoehorn the engine into his custom-built track monster, and man does it look fast.

The Martini livery and well-placed headlights and taillights are nice touches, but we think they could’ve done without the modern day Lancia Delta grille. It might be ugly, but this homemade racer is fast.
