Driver who crashed Lamborghini, killing man filmed texting from wrecked car window

A driver smashed into three people during a supercar race on a busy street killing a pedestrian who was shopping with his wife.

In this footage the 24-year-old driver is seen texting on his phone seconds after the horror accident .

This video shows the Lamborghini driver, mobile phone in hand, with half of his body hanging out of the window of his wrecked vehicle.

Moments earlier he is alleged to have mowed down three people killing a 51-year-old man who had been buying milk.

According to local reports, Wiyang Lautner, was arrested after he apparently lost control while racing against a Ferrari.

His car spun out of control and hit a middle-aged couple and a waiter in Surabaya, East Java, Indoensia.

Reports named the victims as Mr Mujianto, 44, Ms Srikanti, 41, and her husband 51-year-old Mr Kuswanto.

Shocked eyewitnesses told police Kuswanto’s body was dragged along by the road by the expensive car before it smashed into a tree.

As the body of Mr Kuswanto lies lifeless on the street with his wife on the pavement with leg injuries just feet away, Lautner can be seen texting and speaking on his mobile.

Ms Srikanti and the waiter Mr Mujianto both had broken legs.

Officers at Surabaya police station confirmed that a motorcycle was heavily damaged in the crash,’ according to Kompas.com .

According to reports Mr Kuswanto’s body was taken to Soetomo Hospital for a post-mortem.

Police detained Lautner at Dukuh Kupang police station.

Mr Kuswanto and his wife Srikanti, who were from nearby village Kaliasin, had been struck as they bought milk at the side of the road.
