I had to replace the exhaust system of my car because it had been destroyed by rust. I was able to replace it with the car propped up on two jacks but that was rather unsafe and it didn’t really lift the car far enough.

I tried buying some cheap car ramps but they were just garbage. In the end I decided to make my own out of plywood, which turned out to be quick and easy. So I cut the side pieces first, with my circular saw.

Then I cut another strip of plywood on the table saw, which I then cut into smaller rectangles that connect the side pieces and hold up the tops.

Some of these pieces needed to have one edge cut at an angle, so that they’d be able to support the sloped part of the surface that the tires will rest on. Then it was just a matter of screwing it all together amd finishing the exhaust repair on my car.
