Donny Grigsby went into the dentist’s office for a routine procedure, or, so he thought.
At White River Dental in Columbus, Indiana, he was told four of his teeth needed to be removed. He went under anesthesia thinking he’d wake up in a few hours with a few less teeth, but with better oral health.
Grigsby’s wife, Amanda, spent five-and-a-half hours in the waiting room, when she decided to investigate. She found her husband in the room, droopy-eyed with blood all over his shirt. The dentist had removed all of his teeth.
When she asked why, the dentist claimed it was done to prevent the spread of infection from one of Donny’s abscessed teeth.
Donny Grigsby was rushed to a hospital after the procedure, and had to be put in a medically-induced coma. Ever since, he’s been hooked up to an oxygen tank, due to a blood clot.
