A fisherman got one magnificent catch during the Fourth of July weekend when he reeled in a massive hammerhead shark off Florida’s Panama City Beach — and it was all captured in a drone video. Curtis Williams was flying his drone over Panama City Beach on Saturday when he saw the fisherman attempting to capture the shark.

“Flying around and noticed a crowd. Turns out a guy was pulling in a massive hammerhead. Watch him attempt to grab and it thrash back. Incredible.”He managed to hook into a fully grown Greater Hammerhead Shark and reel the hulking specimen to the beach.

The man then moves closer to the shark. As the drone descends further toward land, it becomes evident that the shark has been hooked to a string. The shark continues to resist while the man pulls the string and the hooked animal toward shore.Eventually, the exhausted shark gives up and is briefly brought to shore.

Instead of dragging it up on the sand and wrasslin’ the shark to remove the hook the angler actually went out into the water and met the shark in the waves and removed the hook to send the shark swimming away.
