What’s more San Francisco than a robot delivery food roaming around the streets? Marble is a food delivery robot, from a San Francisco Mediterranean restaurant. You you order food, you’ll get asked if you want your food delivered by a robot. Like any person with perfect sense the answer is yes of course.

This Yelp EAT 24 robot will then be dispatched to your location. Once it arrived you just have to enter a unique code, sensors will detect that you’ve removed your food and it moves on.

The robot uses lasers and camera to navigate through obstacles and makes it’s way back home. The robots will travel at walking speed, navigating thanks to an array of onboard sensors and lidar, as well as maps Marble has made of the neighborhoods where their robots roam.

They’re also taller than waist height — though the height can change depending on the size of the cargo bay attached to its base. Still, this is not a petite vehicle.
