Acrobats Giang Quoc Nghiep and Giang Quoc Co managed to get up the 90 consecutive stairs of Saint Mary’s Cathedral in Girona, Spain – aka the Sept of Baelor in Game of Thrones – in 52 seconds.Two unfathomably-strong Vietnamese brothers have smashed the record for the Most consecutive stairs climbed while balancing a person on the head in Girona, Spain.

You might recognise the picturesque setting from popular fantasy epic Game of Thrones, as these stairs are used for the exterior of the Sept of Baelor in King’s Landing.

It takes the siblings just 52 seconds to climb to the top and they make the impressive challenge look almost effortless.

The professional performers more than tripled the previous record of 25 stairs that was set by Tang Tao and Su Zengxian (China) on the set of CCTV-Guinness World Records Special back in 2014.Mayor of Girona Marta Madrenas attended the event and congratulated the Giang brothers following their successful Guinness World Records attempt.
