Jason Pecikonis and his team at Timeless Kustoms spent 10,000 hours transforming a 1965 Ford Mustang coupe into a 1,000 horsepower Ford Mustang fastback that Jay can only describe as ‘Vicious’.
The blowers deliver up to 26 psi of charge pressure to the 5.1-liter V-8 nestled under the hood.
The 5.1-liter Aluminator motor relies on compound boosting, with a pair of 68mm turbos feeding a 2.3-liter Magnuson blower. The result? 1,000 hp at the wheels.
The engine is matched up with a 6-speed, paddle-shifted sequential transmission and is driving some massive 19×13-inch wheels at the rear. A 19×11-in pair sits up front.
At first, the pony doesn’t feel like too much of an insult to traditionalists, since we’re dealing with a Ford V8.
