We’re talking with Josh Conrad who is the Collections Coordinator, and Ron Stauffer who is a Trustee and on the Building Committee for the Museum.Yes that’s right, this car has no paint because it is 1 of 6 original Stainless Steel Cars built by Ford! There are only 4 left that are known to exist.
Only four of these persist, so the chance of buying one is really, really low. The inside of the car is equally impressive because they reflect on the best cars of that time.
If you’re interested in seeing this car in person, go to the Early Ford V-8 Foundation & Museum. The Museum is located at 2181 General Doolittle Drive, Auburn, IN 46706. Or go to www.FordV8Foundation.org and view their inventory.
