The Chevrolet Tahoe is one of the better, larger body-on-frame, pickup-based SUVs on the market today. It’s comfortable, roomy and powerful, and offers more towing capacity than the smaller Ford Expedition. A 5.7-liter V-8 engine produces 255 horsepower. It’s backed by a 4-speed automatic transmission that sends power to either the front or rear wheels.
Exterior features also include fog lights, power-adjustable heated side mirrors, tinted rear windows, a rear step bumper, and a receiver hitch. The Tahoe has a well-equipped cabin that’s more luxurious than some of its competitors, with soft-touch plastics and distinct styling.

The dashboard is mounted closer to the driver and controls are in a more ergonomic position, making the Tahoe more appealing to families. The high-set cab gives a clear view of the road and is remarkably roomy for a vehicle in this class. The seating is as comfortable as you’ll find in luxury-brand SUVs.
