This is the Corvette E-Ray, the hybrid Corvette. Today I’m reviewing this Corvette E-Ray, and I’ll show you all the many quirks and features. The result is a sleek, sculpted presence with a number of aerodynamic and performance benefits. Standard ground effects and spoiler contribute further to its aerodynamic prowess, while matching body-color accents provide a refined look.Designed for year-round performance, E-Ray and its electrified AWD capability is always up for a challenge, whether it’s snow or rain.

But this sophisticated supercar wasn’t created to take on Mother Nature alone. With technology inspired by the C8.R race car, F1 and Le Mans prototypes, it’s made to take on the greatest cars in the world.Interior:Inspired by fighter jets, the leather-wrapped cockpit of E-Ray combines functional technology with luxurious craftsmanship.

At the center of the car is a 1.1-kWh lithium-ion battery pack made up of 80 refrigerant-chilled LG Chem pouch-type cells along with a liquid-cooled power inverter. The heart of the E-Ray is the 495-hp 6.2-liter V-8 plucked from the Stingray Z51. With the electric motor added to the equation, the total output is 655 horses. The E-Ray’s hybrid system kicks in extra power for acceleration and recharges when you’re coasting, braking, or using the Charge+ function on the move.
