Building on the success of its cousin, the Kia EV9, the Ioniq 9 offers a unique combination of spaciousness, advanced technology, and impressive electric performance. At the heart of the Ioniq 9 is a powerful 110.3-kilowatt-hour battery pack. Buyers can choose between three configurations: the Long Range single-motor model, a dual-motor Long Range version, and a high-performance dual-motor variant. The single-motor Long Range model delivers 215 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, while the dual-motor Long Range version boosts output to 310 horsepower and 445 pound-feet. For those seeking top-tier performance, the high-performance model packs a punch with 430 horsepower and 515 pound-feet of torque, enabling it to accelerate from zero to sixty miles per hour in just 4.9 seconds.
While official range figures for the dual-motor models are still pending, Hyundai estimates the base single-motor version will achieve 335 miles per charge. Charging is quick and convenient thanks to compatibility with 350-kilowatt DC fast chargers, which can replenish the battery from ten to eighty percent in a mere 24 minutes. Adding to its versatility, the Ioniq 9 has a towing capacity of up to 5,000 pounds, making it suitable for both daily commutes and weekend getaways.

Inside, the Ioniq 9 offers seating for six or seven people, depending on the chosen layout. Second-row passengers can enjoy Hyundai’s innovative Relaxation Seats, complete with a Dynamic Touch Massage function. For added flexibility, both the first and second rows can recline fully flat, while the second-row seats swivel to allow passengers to face those in the third row when parked. Eco-friendly materials enhance the cabin, featuring recycled fabrics, sustainably sourced leather, and even wool.
