This is the new 2025 Ineos Grenadier Quartermaster and it’s the pickup truck version of the Ineos Grenadier SUV. The Grenadier is a modern take on the beloved old-school Land Rover Defenders. It’s boxy, rugged, off-road capable, and costs around $90,000. Today I’m reviewing this Quartermaster, and I’ll show you the many quirks and features. I’m also going to get behind the wheel and show you what it’s like to drive.

Engineered for extraordinary purposes, the Quartermaster offers even greater versatility while carrying loads, thanks to a pallet-sized rear bed & class-leading off-road capability. The Grenadier Station Wagon has five seats and is designed to offer the optimum balance between payload and passenger carrying capability, without compromising passenger comfort.
It uses a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six from BMW, good for 281 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission with a manual-shifting mode is the only transmission available. The Quartermaster, like the Grenadier, has standard full-time four-wheel drive and a two-speed transfer case with a lockable center differential.

Payloads vary between drivetrains, with only 832kg for the twin-turbo diesel model that Ineos says will outsell the 907kg-rated single-turbo petrol by four to one.
