This particular LX is also equipped with the new Overtrail trim, which makes it even more off-road capable. Today I’m reviewing this Lexus LX 700h, and I’ll show you the many quirks and features. The Lexus LX 700h pairs the twin-turbo 3.4-liter V-6 paired with a 10-speed direct shift automatic transmission. And situated between the engine and transmission is an electric motor, with the nickel-metal hydride battery located just behind the rear wheels In other uses the powertrain’s capped at 437 hp, but here Lexus rates it at 457 hp and 583 lb-ft.

All LX 700h’s come with a Torsen limited slip locking centre differential, active height control, adaptive variable suspension, multi-terrain select (4Hi and 4Lo), multi-terrain monitor, crawl control, and downhill assist control. The LX 700h comes standard with a comprehensive suite of safety features including adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, and blind-spot monitoring.
