Today I’m reviewing this new Mercedes-Benz G580 and I’ll show you the many quirks and features. I’m also going to get behind the wheel and show you what it’s like to drive.

Power is delivered by four identical 145-hp electric motors that offer a combined output of 579 hp and 859 lb-ft of torque. That’s more power than the AMG G63’s twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 produces. Each motor can be individually controlled. Generous standard equipment includes self-leveling rear air suspension, third generation MBUX infotainment with new Routines function, and much more.
While the exterior of the vehicle is mostly the same as previous G-Wagons, the interior is quite different. There are still rugged aspects, like larger handles and sporty-looking seats, but the vehicle is built for comfort too. Inside the new G, it’s familiar territory for anyone who’s experienced a recent Mercedes-Benz vehicle.

On the inside there’s tons of accent lighting throughout the interior of the vehicle. It helps give the car a more modern, luxurious look. And there are displays dotted around the car too. There’s a 12.3-inch infotainment display, coupled with a large instrument display.
