This is the new 2025 Toyota Crown Signia and it’s a crossover or is it a wagon? It’s also straddling a strange line in Toyota’s fleet of NINE different SUVs. Today I’m reviewing this new Toyota Crown Signia and I’ll show you the many quirks and features. I’m also going to get behind the wheel and show you what it’s like to drive.

It has a standard hybrid powertrain with all-wheel drive and offers more ground clearance than a typical car, while also returning impressive fuel economy and providing good comfort and utility. Every Crown Signia has a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine paired with electric motors to create an electronic all-wheel-drive system, a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT), and a battery pack that recharges as you drive.
The hybrid setup delivers 240 hp in total from the combination of a 188-hp, 178-lb-ft 2.5-liter gas four-cylinder engine and a 180-hp electric drive motor (plus a starter/generator) driving the front axle and a 53-hp electric motor that spins the rear axle.

It comes standard with premium features such as leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, heated rear seats and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. Toyota also loads the Signia with lots of tech including dual 12.3-inch displays, a wireless smartphone charger, wireless smartphone integration, and a package of several advanced driver aids. To top it off, its hybrid powertrain delivers 38 mpg in combined driving.
