This is the 2025 Volvo EX90 and it’s a fully electric three row SUV. The EX90 has all the benefits of a typical Volvo SUV, but with an electric powertrain. Today I’m reviewing this Volvo EX90 and I’ll show you the many quirks and features. I’m also going to get behind the wheel and show you what it’s like to drive.

A 402-hp electric powertrain will be standard and should provide plenty of punch for quick acceleration; a 510-hp Performance variant is also available. A large battery pack gives EX90 a driving range of between 300 and 310 miles per charge and it can be re-juiced via a DC fast-charging connection. The EX90 also showcases the brand’s next-generation driver-assistance technology.
The EX90 is, on the surface, a lovely electric SUV. It looks and feels exactly like a car that Volvo lovers would want, and should be a smooth transition from the current generation of three-row gas-powered or hybrid Volvos.
