The SIAI-Marchetti SF 260 (now Leonardo SF-260) is an Italian light aircraft that has been commonly marketed as a military trainer and or acrobatic aircraft.
The SF.260 was designed by Italian aircraft designer Stelio Frati, while production work originally performed by Milan-based aviation manufacturer Aviamilano.
This model comes with 2 scale flaps, seat, plastic pilot, it has a wingspan of app. 2.00m and a length of app. 2.00m, the take-off weight of the airplane is app. 15Kg. The wide fuselage is made entirely in a sandwich construction, to keep it light and stiff. The airplane is powered by a DA100 Boxer (7,6 kw 10,3 PS) two-stroke engine.
Due to the retractable landing gear it is a very clean looking and flying plane, but the gear itself is set up very simple, making it a great first experience with large scale retracts.
