What kind of man builds a motorcycle around a Lamborghini Espada V12? We say a visionary genius, which is exactly what Chuck Beck is. It also has a VW Type 3 axle, rear-mounted radiators, and yes, he rides it. “It’s not geared to go real fast, only about 140 mph,” says Chuck.

Many years ago Chuck was given the engine by a friend after his Lamborghini Espada caught fire and was totaled. The engine is now connected to a Volkswagen Type 3 transaxle and is geared to have a top speed of 140 mph.
The radiator sits in the very back of the bike to keep as much heat away from Chuck while he controls the bike with custom linkage. Listen as Chuck explains the bike and how it came to be.
We can’t even begin to imagine the finesse it takes to handle this machine. Hell, it takes more than a standard operator’s license to fully utilize a Lamborghini V12 engine in a four-wheeled variation. Take two wheels off, and a week-long riding class should be mandatory.
