Their skoolie kitchen boasts a side-by-side parallel design, optimizing the functional triangle of refrigerator, sink, and stove. They opted for a larger sink, perfect for conserving water while boondocking, and custom-made countertops crafted from local beetle-kill pine. Their kitchen is equipped with a three-burner stove and a versatile toaster oven, perfect for cooking all our favorite meals. The rolling pantry is a unique feature, providing ample storage and additional workspace.

The bathroom in their bus is split into two functional areas: the toilet room and the shower. They built our own composting toilet, complete with a urine diverter and storage for essentials. The shower is lined with durable galvanized metal and features a custom-made stainless steel shower pan. They added a teak mat for comfort and use a magnetic arm showerhead to save water.

Their cozy bedroom features a full-size bed with plenty of storage underneath, including designated spaces for our batteries and other essentials. They each have our own spacious closet, providing ample room for all our clothes and belongings. The design emphasizes simplicity and comfort, making the most of every inch of space. The living and dining area is versatile and functional, perfect for relaxing or entertaining guests. Their Ikea double drop-leaf table can accommodate up to eight people, and the couch converts into a full-size bed for additional sleeping space. They’ve maximized storage with built-in drawers and under-seat compartments, ensuring everything has its place.
