The Purosangue is powered by a naturally aspirated gasoline V12 engine mounted in a front-central position, derived from the one used in the 812 Superfast with which it shares the 6.5-liter displacement. However, it has undergone extensive revisions with new crankshafts and camshafts to adapt to a completely different vehicle body. It delivers 725 PS at 7750 rpm and 716 N⋅m of torque at 6250 rpm, with a limiter set at 8250 rpm.
