Lightning features an all-electric powertrain that’s been engineered to the same exacting standards as the rest of the F-150 lineup. All versions of the electric F-150 come with dual motors and four-wheel drive on a SuperCrew cab. Equipped with an extended range battery, the F-150 Lightning targets 563 hp and 775 lb-ft.

This is a real truck, not a toy for campers and not a weird design exercise. It’s now in production by a company that already knows how to produce vehicles in big numbers.
