According to Xpeng AeroHT, the aircraft carrier is EREV based on the 800V high-voltage platform. It has an internal combustion engine under the hood, which doesn’t transfer any torque to the wheels. Instead, it supplies power to electric motors and a battery pack. The mixed range of this carrier reaches 1,000 km.

Over 1,000 km combined CLTC range for limitless exploration. The body is tailor-made to accommodate the flying module: the latter consists of a squared-off body and a large glass pane that provides a 270-degree panoramic view for the two people it can accommodate. The ground module measures approximately 5.5 meters in length, 2 meters in width, and 2 meters in height. It fits standard parking spaces and underground garages.
The drone, which rests in the Aircraft Carrier when not in use, operates with six rotors, but can also fly with only four in case two stop working. Xpeng AeroHT’s designers have also thought about safety: the aircraft is equipped with a parachute that can withstand up to a thousand kilograms of weight and deploys 50 metres above the ground.
