Lilium released a new video showing its five-seater Air Taxi flying over the countryside.Just six months after revealing the all-electric, five-seater Lilium Jet for the first time, we’re flying at speeds in excess of 100 km/h and we’re proud to share our progress with you.
Nothing like the Lilium Jet has ever existed before. Its iconic design and pioneering technology bring the vision of fully-electric transition flight to reality. It’s the new mobility service for the modern, urbanized age.
In this video provided by the Munich-based company, Lilium’s unpiloted aircraft can be seen taking off vertically like a helicopter, hovering briefly, and then landing.
Lilium Jet is powered by 36 electric engines that give it 2,000 horsepower and will allow it to cruise at up to 300 km/hour. It has the potential to carry five passengers, and it will have zero operating emissions. There is no tail, rudder, propellers, or gearbox. The cabin can seat five passengers.
