The Lion Electric Company unveiled the Lion8 Tractor, an all-electric Class 8 commercial truck. The Lion8 Tractor is a zero-emission semi truck innovated from the ground-up to be 100% electric. Equipped with two eAxles and with a GCWR of up to 127,000 lbs, the Lion8 Tractor does the same heavy lifting you’re used to, with the perks of LionTrucks’ enhanced visibility, safety and comfort.

The Lion8 Tractor features a 6×4 axle configuration with two integrated 2-speed eAxles. The Lion-engineered cab-forward design provides optimal driver visibility and maneuverability, according to company officials.

With a battery capacity of up to 630 kWh providing a range of up to 275 miles (440 kilometers), the Lion8 Tractor is meticulously designed for both power and endurance. Charging to 80% SOC at max power can be accomplished in approximately 1.5 hours, ensuring maximum productivity.
