In 2024 Maserati added an open-top variant based on the GranTurismo, the GranCabrio. Initially offered only as a 550 PS Trofeo or a 761 PS fully-electric Folgore, both with AWD. Petrol models use a 2992 cm3 (3.0L) Nettuno engine while the Folgore has 3x electric motors each producing 400 hp (300 kW). Petrol models use an 8-speed automatic transmission while the Folgore uses a single-speed.

The price of the 2025 Maserati GranCabrio starts at $168,395 and goes up to $200,395 depending on the trim and options. The GranCabrio adheres to the classic GT two-door-with-seating-for-four formula but accents it with a convertible roof. The cabin is draped in high-end materials and upscale finishes, and Maserati has baked in plenty of amenities throughout the design.
