At launch, Maserati GranCabrio is available with the Nettuno six-cylinder internal combustion engine. The Trofeo version is equipped with the 542-hp 3.0-liter V6 Nettuno Twin Turbo engine. Like its GranTurismo twin, the Maserati GranCabrio combines the typical high performance of a sports car with comfort suitable for long distances.

A key feature of the GranCabrio is the Atlantis High electrical/electronic architecture, previously seen in the GranTurismo. Based on canFD messages sent at speeds of up to 2 ms, the system also comes with advanced cyber-security and flash-over-the-air features.
