Rare 1912 Flanders 4 Vintage Motorcycle Startup

Flanders motorcycles were built in Pontiac and Detroit from 1910 to 1914 by the Everitt-Metzger-Flanders Company founded in 1908 and the producer of some stylish automobiles some 30,000 sold, both gasoline and electric powered.

Flanders carried out a reorganization and renaming. For a short time the new company was called Everitt Motor Car Company and then Flanders Motor Company./Motorcyclepedia Museum

The Flanders 4 features a 4 HP single-cylinder 485cc motor with automatic inlet valve, a magneto ignition and a simple belt drive with no clutch and a 1-speed Transmission.
