The “SKY Magnetar” is a commercial hypersonic concept plane that could combine rocket and plane shapes with technological specifications of both. Designed to fly at Mach 5 speed (6,174 kph) thanks to its special fuselage shape with a length of 112 meters and 4 wings located in a specific angle and location in order to obtain the maximum performance at low and at high speeds.

Powered by two combined cycle engines capable to adapt for a flight at subsonic, supersonic and hypersonic speed. One of the most remarkable aspect of this engines would be to be buildted with an architectonics of Blade-less configuration that would have the advantage of get many different shapes and sizes.

The blade-less system would be based on a theoretical engine that could obtain the intake airflow that feeds the current turbofan engines through turbines located out of the main body engine. The SKY Magnetar’s fuselage would be equipped with special active thermal control systems (ATCS) pumping fluids through closed-loop pipes, in order to control the heat generated by the air friction at Mach 5.

The cooling sys would be feeded by hydrogen gas from the hydrogen fuel of the aircraft, that also would be used to cool superconducting magnets inside the engines. Equipped with heat shields made on fibre–metal and ceramic matrix composites for aerospace applications.
Using carbon–carbon composite used in the nose cone and leading edges, Heat exchangers require materials with high thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance, stiffness, strength, low permeability and high temperature stability; carbon–carbon composite is one of the few materials with this unique combination of properties.SKY Magnetar specifications: Length: 112 m. Wingspan: 42 m.Wingspan 30 m. Capacity: 100-120 passengers. Cruising speed: Mach 5. Maximum speed: Mach 5.5. Service ceiling: 65,616 ft (20,000 m). Range: 7,456 mi (12,000 km).
