The Dodge Charger Daytona SRT is a concept unveiled on August 17, 2022 during the third day of the Dodge Speed Week event in Pontiac, Michigan. It has a new powertrain called the Banshee, which Dodge says acts as the new pinnacle of performance in the Brotherhood of Muscle, eclipsing the Hemi, Hellcat and Redeye engines.

The electric Dodge Charger is undeniably a Dodge muscle car but takes a more sleek, futuristic approach. Observe the front end. Notice the open space around the headlights and that dip in the hood?Dodge showed a red Charger Daytona SRT concept at SEMA in November 2022, including a Bugatti-like speed key for increasing power up to 670 hp (500 kW).
Dodge will offer two power options for its 400-volt powertrain. The 340kW version will have 455 horsepower, and the 440kW version will have 590 horsepower. The automaker also plans an 800-volt SRT Banshee powertrain packageThis will allow the 340kW version to reach up to 400kW, or 535 horsepower, and the 440kW version to reach up to 500kW, or 670 horsepower.

The concept is equipped with a 12.3-inch center touchscreen canted 10 degrees toward the driver, complemented with the usual array of performance apps found in current Hellcat models. A curved 16-inch display serves as the instrument cluster and provides plenty of real estate for all the information needed in a performance vehicle. Dodge isn’t promising a production model that looks exactly like this, but elements of this design will appear in a range of upcoming vehicles beginning in 2024.
