This particular example is especially cool, as it’s one of only 400 22B STI models built – and, like all early STI variants of the Impreza WRX, it was never available here in the States.
The turbocharged 2.2-litre four-cylinder boxer engine under the hood was officially rated at 276 horsepower, a limit agreed to by Japan’s automakers at the time, but its actual output most definitely exceeds 300 horsepower.

It’s finished in the best color for these cars, and it features some great equipment like widened bodywork, STI-branded fog light covers, and an STI-branded exhaust tip. It’s also equipped with some nice upgrades including Maxim Works headers, 18-inch Speedline wheels, a bolt-in roll cage, and a MOMO steering wheel.
