A Model X P100D with the Ludicrous + tune that sends almost 1,000 ft/lbs of torque to all four wheels, meaning this thing is built to be a monster in a straight line from the factory. The SUV lines up with a Lamborghini Aventador SV and when the green light drops, puts a nice sized lead on the swoopy Lambo.
However, as they near the quarter mile mark, the Italian supercar builds up a head of steam and begins to reel in the Tesla, which seems to have run out out a steam a bit past the eighth mile.
The Tesla Model X P100D set the quarter-mile record for the fastest SUV time ever recorded and it managed to beat the Lamborghini Aventador SV. The Tesla absolutely smoked the Lamborghini off the line and the Aventador SV was playing catch-up for the entire race.
