The result is a 1/11th-scale replica of Toyota’s SUV, which means it should be about 16.73 inches (425 mm) long. Despite watching this man work for over two years, seeing his craft is always inspiring.
While the artist has shared videos of several different scale models he has carved out of wood, including a Bugatti Chiron, this Toyota Land Cruiser V8 with its intricate detail and fully functional doors and tailgate is our favourite.

The model started as a simple block of wood before being cut into the rough outline of a pickup truck, the artist sanding, sawing, and chiseling it into shape. He then cuts the wood into three pieces which would be used for making the front, side profile, and rear of the Toyota Land Cruiser LC300 carving. Other working components include the steering and the suspension, and to accomplish that, a separate chassis piece needed to be made.
