Showcasing dome architecture made using available resources, the nonprofit CalEarth dome homes were designed as housing ideal for relief work, but also ideal for those following the “tiny living” philosophy.

Starr made her own home on the property as a spacious multi-pod design with distinct living, cooking and sleeping spaces. She is working on construction of her studio space for her work as a drum medicine woman.

To Starr, the construction of an earth bag dome is a spiritual and personal process. She is especially compelled by how mimics the medicine wheel in design. In all of her endeavors, she works on the discipline of finding peace.
