Imagine living in this micro cabin, floating on a river or a lake, and enjoying fresh air on an enormous deck? If you can’t tell already, we’re in love with this boat! A woodworking wizard named Richard built the Koroc – a beautiful floating tiny house RV on aluminum pontoons.

The Le Koroc Tiny House Boat uses clever construction processes and a single-structure laminated timber, which is testament to the Canadian workshop’s constant consideration for the environment throughout the build.

The exterior flooring of this vessel is made from marine quality plywood overlaid with a vinyl membrane so it will stand tough whatever the weather and wherever your adventures take you. There is a real visual appeal to this water based tiny home and for those that love the concept behind this sort of design.

The 8.5-foot by 26-foot boat is incredibly energy efficient, using a 265-watt solar panel to charge the two 6-volt batteries that run the boat’s lighting and refrigerator, as it floats atop three marine grade aluminum + magnesium alloy tubes.

Richard has a solar panel for electricity, a Martin propane heater, a propane cooktop, a DIY carbon filter for filtering grey water, a self-contained toilet, two dinettes (one that converts into a double bed), and tons of windows, not to mention the huge deck. It’s off-grid minimalist living paradise! The cost for everything? Just about $61,000.
