Zündapp was once a leading motorcycle manufacturer and was known for high quality, innovative design and sporting success. Motorcylces has been produced from 800ccm to 50ccm. Several world records were also set. From the end of 1960, sporty 50ccm mopeds were produced which generated large sales figures.

This bike runs fine and is presented in original condition. It comes with original papers. he new two-seater with a step-through frame was called the C 50 Super. Visually completely revamped, this type 441 retained the main technical features of its predecessor: front sheet metal pressed fork, three-speed manual transmission and fan cooling. At least the engineers were now able to coax 2.9 hp out of the mini engine.
It was more the more mature gentlemen who swore by the conservative moped, and because there was good business to be done with these gentlemen even without fashion gags, the C 50 Super remained on offer with only a few changes until 1976. Anyone who wanted something visually faster opted for the C 50 Sport anyway.

When a factory hall was cleared out at the beginning of September 1967 to celebrate the company’s 50th anniversary, the 517 models had already undergone their first “facelift”. The new KS line, which was easily recognizable by its beefy 13.5-liter tank, initially boasted new names and models: Germany’s best-selling moped, the Sport-Combinette, was now called the C 50 Sport; the small motorcycle range included the KS 50, KS 50 Sport and KS 50 Super Sport models, which were only available with airflow cooling.
