The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is a crazily versatile van and today I’m reviewing an RV model, complete with a kitchen, a bed, an 4-wheel drive. I’ll show you the quirks and features of this Sprinter 4×4, and I’m also going to drive this Sprinter to show you what it’s like behind the wheel.

THIS is a 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 4×4, finished in Arctic White with a Desert Sand Beige exterior wrap and a black interior.Factory equipment includes Low & High Range 4×4 and Driver Convenience packages, a high roof, a sliding door, a 7-inch touchscreen display, heavy-duty rear air conditioning, cruise control, and a rearview camera, among others listed below.Video by Doug DeMuro:

Power comes from a 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6, rated at 188 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque. Output is directed to all four wheels through a 7-speed automatic transmission.

This Sprinter has been converted into an off-grid camper, and a partial list of modifications reported by the selling dealer includes 16-inch Black Rhino Arsenal wheels, a 52-inch rooftop LED bar, Backwoods Adventure Mods roof rack and side ladder, custom CNC’d and tweed covered walls, 60-inch galley with bamboo counter top, removable and storable 4-person table, a Eberspächer Airtronic diesel heater, and GFCI outlets throughout the vehicle.
