Riding on an updated platform, the fourth-generation Pilot also gets a new engine, transmission, and lots of interior and design updates. The new Pilot sports a more cohesive look that’s more square-jawed and intentional, pairing nicely with the dark trim elements offered on the loaded-up Elite and TrailSport trims.
It is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine, a 10-speed automatic transmission, and front-wheel drive (FWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD).Power is similar to the outgoing model at 285 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque. Honda improved the 2023 Pilot’s comfort with redesigned seats, and the new interior layout is more like what you’ll find in other midsize SUVs.
