The Orchard House is a beautiful extra wide tiny house on wheels measuring 10’x19′. This tiny home was built by Colin at Salt Spring Island Tiny Homes and we especially love the super spacious loft and the space saving ship’s ladder that folds up and tucks away during the day.

This tiny house staircase takes up much less volume than most of the other tiny house staircases you’ll come across. The major advantage to stairs is that they are undoubtably easier to climb.
Storage space is prime real estate in any tiny house, and finding multi-functional ways of building storage into your space is always a good idea. The kitchen also has plenty of places to store food and utensils, and part of the counter forms the step up to the ladder leading up to the workspace and guest sleeping loft.
The interior’s simple, clean lines and mostly white color scheme makes the most of the modest square footage. The bathroom is also well-designed, with enough space integrated for a washer-dryer combination machine, place to store linens, a shower and a composting toilet on castors, allowing it to be wheeled out of the way when not in use.
