Have you ever wondered how a car engine works ?.Well, here it is…AutoTechLabs brings you another presentation on how a car engine works. The video explains the internal structure of a four cylinder engine and also the working of a four stroke engine.
An internal-combustion engine is a heat engine in that it converts energy from the heat of burning gasoline into mechanical work, or torque. That torque is applied to the wheels to make the car move.
The engine block is the foundation of an engine. The engine block is also referred to as the cylinder block The cylinder is where the engine’s pistons slide up and down.
At the top of each cylinder, there are two valves ,the inlet valve allows fuel and air to enter the cylinder from a carburetor, the outlet valve lets the exhaust gases escape. The cylinder head also holds the spark plug an electrically controlled device that makes a spark to set fire to the fuel.
