DIY Building a Woodland Cabin with Plastic Wrap


In this episode I continue building the woodland cabin by adding a roof, walls and then installing a wood stove before cooking up some food in a cast iron skillet.

The tools used so far for this project are: A knife, saw, axe and some plastic wrap. As you will see in the episode, I was extremely surprised with the amount of heat the thin walls were able to keep in.

As mentioned in the video, this isn’t the type of shelter I would usually build in a woodland, but I just had to give it a go! The plastic wrap will eventually be recycled.


He builds the main frame of the house, including a makeshift bed and whatever else he needs inside. The main pillars are thick trunks of trees. Then he secures the joints using thick cords.What do you think about this type of shelter?/BUSHCRAFT TOOLS
