This week I built a DIY mobile kitchen island with an epoxy resin “river’ table top. This DIY kitchen island features a slim design to fit my narrow kitchen.

The base cabinet is made from baltic birch plywood, and the top is walnut live edge slab cut offs I got from Vintage Reclaimed Lumber in OKC.
These cutoffs could have been doomed for the trash bin, but I turned them into something beautiful using Total Boat Thickset epoxy to pour an epoxy resin river.
