In today’s video I want to show you unique 2-axis stabilizer based on gyroscope from old hdd! It works flawless, but you need to spent some time to calibrate it!
Materials you need: pvc pipes, bearings, nuts, screws, betteries and brushless motor controller. In total I spent near 10$ for this project and got amazing result! Thegimbal uses PVC pipe for its structure, and the platter from a hard drive as its gyro wheel.
The customized balance of your particular imaging device is simple as well, with all the adjustments on the base plate. Twin handles for graceful grip, center of gravity assurance, and pitch balance no room for error.
