Created under the direction of new head of Genesis, Kia and Hyundai design the Essentia is also tasked with changing the perception of the Hyundai luxury brand’s design language.The all-electric, high-performance concept elevates and reimagines the “Athletic Elegance” design paradigm,while providing a vision of future Genesis product performance and technology.
The interior of the car at the show is a bold red with blue dash accents.Essentia is the brand’s first battery electric vehicle and features a lightweight carbon-fiber monocoque,a robust, multi-motor electric powertrain, and a custom-tailored interior.

Ahead of the driver is an 8-inch widescreen display with piano black surround. The information in the cluster includes onlywhat is necessary for driving. The Essentia concept debuts an all-electric GT vehicle with new battery technology, with a claimed 0-100km/h time of around 3.0 seconds.Essentia uses batteries that run up the centre of the vehicle.
