The owner tells Me that His family has been in farming for generations. The bed wood is just beautiful black walnut wood. The family farm is a walnut farm to it’s cool to have been able to work that into the build. Covered in a custom mix green color.

With a pearl hint to it. It looked good under the lights but out is in the sun is were it really come to life I am told. This 1947 Ford COE started life as a tow truck. It had been converted to a flat bed when the owner purchased it for this project. It’s a Ford with a 383 Chevy under the cover. Check out this custom 1947 Ford COE I found at the 2020 Grand National Roadster Show.
I would prefer to see a manufacture matching Ford. But it is still a very cool build. The interior is all custom and very fitting for the build. As nice as the interior is. It still has a heavy duty truck look to it.

Wheels are always a personal choice but the 22.5 semi wheels cut down to 22 10 lug work well in my opinion and I can’t think of a better choice. This 1947 Ford COE from the 2020 Grand National Roadster Show is no doubt a custom Hot Rod but it still has that heavy duty truck look about it. I’m a fan and I sure You will be to.
