The McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle is an American twin-engine, all-weather tactical fighter aircraft designed by McDonnell Douglas. The F-15C Eagle is arguably the world’s most successful fourth generation fighter jet. It delivered the highest thrust, fastest top speed, furthest range, highest combat kill ratio and longest service life among its contemporaries.
Freewing’s F-15C boasts a powerful 2x Kingtech 140 turbine engines and features a range of scale details which set it apart from any other electric F-15. The wingspan of the airplane is 1.88m and the length of the airplane is 2.77m. The airplane weights 31kg.
The plane is made from strong but lightweight foam that is more resistant to crashes and gives easier stable flight even in windy conditions. The punch that this plane packs allows it to perform a full aerobatic display: inside loops, outside loops, axial rolls, inverted flight, knife edge, stall turns, hammerheads, and spins are all possible.
The elevator mounting and control hardware is reinforced to provide rigidity in high-G maneuvers. The fiberglass nose cone easily detaches with magnets, and the wings can be removed for transport.
